Very few people are actually infected with this lung infection but those who have it are not easily identified. You may even have this disease due to environmental factors, infections or therapy.
Causes of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis

Treatment of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis
There are several treatment options available for the treatment of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. The treatment available for pulmonary fibrosis can actually reduce the symptoms and manage the disease better.
The main goal of treatment is to reduce inflammation of the lungs and to prevent further damage to the lung tissues. This allows them to breathe more easily and properly. The most common treatment for idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis is oxygen therapy and accompanying medication. Oxygen therapy actually helps control the inflammation in the lungs and reduces the scarring of the lung tissue which is one of its primary symptoms.

Another way to treat this condition is lung transplantation. Lung transplants can be a little dangerous but can be very helpful, especially for patients with this disease at a young age. According to our experts, lung transplantation is recommended for patients under 45 years of age.
