Although it seems to be the most common cause of penile yeast infection, it is not the only cause of this infection. Most men get yeast infections due to poor hygiene. It is best to take precautions as soon as you notice any signs of a penile yeast infection.
Symptoms of penile yeast infection
In general, most of the symptoms of penile yeast infection are similar to other conditions that occur in the penis. The symptoms of yeast infection in men are divided into two stages, early stage and then late stage. The severity of the infection can be prevented if the symptoms are noticed at an early stage. Early symptoms include:
- Red rash on the penis
- Shiny spots on the tip of the penis
- The skin of the penis looks moist
- Dense white substance is found on the skin of the foreskin or folds of the penis
If these symptoms are ignored, the person may have a more severe form of penile yeast infection, such as-
- Redness on the skin of the penis
- Itching or irritation
- Burning or feeling in the penis

Causes of penile yeast infections in men
The fungus causes yeast infections in men. It is called Candida and it is already present in the body. It is usually present in small amounts and does no harm to the body, but even a small increase in this fungus can cause yeast infections.
