Zinc can be beneficial in situations where there may be drowsiness or dry skin. People with this type of condition may try to apply zinc to their diet or use it as a supplement to treat it as an alternative remedy.
According to various studies, it has been found that zinc deficiency can increase the risk of asthma and various allergies. The risk was much higher in people with a history of any type of treatment.
Zinc and asthma
According to some pediatric reports submitted in 2016, it has been concluded that zinc supplementation provides additional benefits to the body. Standard treatment reduces the amount of asthma treatment in children. Doctors recommend that insufficient amounts of zinc in food can cause allergies which can make your symptoms worse.
